“Quinta dos Três Rios” offers you a magnificent rural location where peace and tranquility reign. The house is situated on the east side of “Parada de Gonta”, between Viseu and Tondela, in the center of the Dão wine region.
Six cosy guest suites provide privacy and harmony to our visitors.

“Quinta dos Três Rios” organizes parties in this wonderful setting with breathtaking views over Rio Pavia.

“Quinta dos Três Rios” dates back to the XIX century and the house has been totally restored by the Forestier-Walker family. The family made every effort to maintain the original characteristics of the ancient farmhouse and every original piece has, where possible, been restored: the pine floor, the gates, the pine shutters and even the door-handles.

All guest accommodations have magnificent views over the Rio Pavia and its wonderful waterfalls, over the vineyard and the whole property. The vineyard was replanted by the Forestier-Walker family and covers an area of 1.9 hectares.

All the guest suites have comfortable bedrooms, a sitting-room and bathroom. For your comfort and convenience, there are music, satellite TV, fridge, and tea & coffee making facilities. Internet access, ice machine and telephone are available by request.

The Suites:

“The Vineyard”
A double room, with Canadian maple floor. There are two balconies and both have astonishing views over the vineyard and the “Rio Pavia”. There is also a bathroom with shower and a comfortable sitting room.

“The Woodlands”
The Woodlands has a double bedroom with bathroom. It has a balcony with a wonderful view over the woods, Rio Pavia and the vineyard, “Quinta de Lemos”

“The Oaks”
It used to be the Quinta’s old kitchen, but now it’s a large suite designed for families with children or people with disabilities (wheelchair facilities). There is a twin, a double bedroom and two bathrooms, one of them with wheelchair facilities. This suite also benefits from a kitchen with a fridge, a microwave oven and a gas hob. The suite has its own private entrance and balcony.

“Rio Pavia”
The “Rio Pavia” is designed for families or groups, with two bedrooms - a twin and a double - with an interconnecting bathroom. There is a kitchen with a dining room and a large sitting room with a sofa-bed for two extra people, if required.

“Rio Asnes”
A very charming and cosy double bedroom with bathroom and sitting room.

“Rio Vila Chã”
Also a double bedroom with bathroom. It benefits from a large sitting room with views over the hills and the original granite laundry area.

Things to do :-

Golf, horse riding, vineyard tours, skiing, visiting museums and rock climbing are just some of the activities that you can do. We have some great local restaurants nearby and two cafes in the village. The local post office also has an ATM machine.

Campo de Golfe Montebelo – 18 holes
Golf de Montebelo, the first golf course built in the Beiras region, is a mountain course situated in majestic landscape, with the Serra da Estrela and Serra do Caramulo as it's major landmarks.  Running through 200 hectares, the Golf de Montebelo is set in a unique landscape with exceptional views over Serra da Estrela and Serra do Caramulo. The mountainous course, spotted with gorse and heather, runs through pine and oak trees, over 6,300 metres. It is divided in two parts, named according to their main geographical landmarks: the Caramulo course (first nine holes) and the Estrela course (next nine holes). Dog legs, no less than eight of them, are typical of this course. The final sequence is unforgettable, the last three holes provide astonishing views over valleys, streams, hills, lakes and well protected greens
