Las Golondrinas Self-Catering or Guest House Golf Holidays in Murcia, Spain

Las Golondrinas is a large finca situated in a small hamlet 3km from the village of La Pinilla. Ideal for those who want to discover the 'real  Spain' away from the package tour scenario. Perfect for golf,  walking, cycling, bird watching or just 'chilling out'. A choice of either self catering or guesthouse accommodation.

We can cater for groups of up to 14 as Las Golondrinas & El Nido de Golondrinas can be rented together. They are joined together and surround an inner courtyard.

Accommodation

Las Golondrinas
Las Golondrinas has 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom with en suite facilities and 2 have air conditioning. There is a sitting room which looks out onto a traditional inner courtyard. There is satellite TV and a DVD player.There is a log burning stove although the house is also fitted with central heating. The dining room which has air conditioning is big enough to accommodate guests staying in both Las Golondrinas and El Nido de Golondrinas for larger groups occupying both properties. The kitchen is fully fitted and has a dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

El Nido de Golondrinas
El Nido (the nest) are tastefully converted outbuildings within the finca. It is ideal for the larger family or for wheelchair dependent guests as it is extremely spacious. On the ground floor is a family suite which has a very large twin room with plenty of room to put an extra z-bed if needed. A large shower room with flat shower and a double bedroom. The twin room has air conditioning. The kitchen/diner is well equipped with gas stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and plenty of cupboard space. The large lounge has satellite TV, air conditioning for the summer, central heating for the cooler months and a feature spiral staircase leading up to another double bedroom, single bedroom and shower room.

Casa Hoopoe
A large bungalow with 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom (bath, separate shower, WC and vanity unit) and air conditioning. The twin bedroom has an ensuite shower room. The kitchen has fitted units, a cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine; The sitting room leads out onto a private covered patio area with steps up to the roof solarium offering spectacular mountain views.

The 8m x 4m pool is for the sole use of guests staying within the complex. The pool area has been screened with an insect screen for the comfort of our guests and there is a poolside residents bar and dining room. Within the garden area is a boules court, sun terraces and shady spots. Barbecue, sunloungers and garden furniture are within the pool area.

The beautiful, sandy, blue flag beaches of Puerto de Mazarron are within a half hour drive. It is a lively place with plenty of bars and shops.

Golf
Hacienda del Alamo (18 hole) and Camposol (18 hole) golf courses are within a 15 minute drive, although Mosa Trajectum Johan Cruyff golf and sports resort and the exclusive La Manga Club are within a half hours drive.

The Hacienda del Alamo championship 18 hole golf course, designed by Dave Thomas, is currently the longest course in the whole of Spain at 6 724 metres and tipped to host major tournament in the future.

With wonderful wide open spaces, bounded by mature palm, olives and almond trees, eight lakes and 84 well placed bunkers, this course is designed to test golfers of all abilities. Camposol Golf Club
The new course at Camposol enjoys breathtaking views to the north with Sierra Espuna and the Algarooboo mountain range to the south.  At 6158 yards and par 72, this beautiful golf course will give you all the challenges required, to make your golfing experience in Spain a special one that will have you returning time after time, and year after year. With water hazards and greens protected by numerous bunkers, a good position of the tee is required to hit the greens in regulation.

Mosa Trajectum
With 27 championship holes, you can play three separate 18 hole, par 72 courses. There is also a nine-hole par 3 Challenge Course, set up for competitions held by the Federation. The terrain is varied throughout, with thousands of palm trees, stone river beds, some wild terrain, a links course, olive trees and pine trees.
