St Francis Bay Lodge is a gorgeous thatched lodge in the unique village of St Francis Bay and a short drive to both the St Francis Bay Links Golf Course and the St Francis Bay Golf Course. Relax in one of our luxury rooms with super kingsize beds, percale linen, en suite bathrooms, and private balcony. Or bring the kids and stay in our spacious family rooms. Babysitters available on request!
We offer full al a carte lunch and dinner menus and meals are served in the beautifully decorated dining room or can be enjoyed al fresco on the deck or by the pool. Breakfasts are a highlight and a great start to your day!
From the time you arrive we will nurture your every whim, be it a round of golf at the new Jack Nicklaus signature course, surfing the famous Bruce’s Beauties, a Spa Treatment or a canal cruise. You will leave with your soul restored, yearning for your next visit.
Rooms and Rates
One family room boasts an extra length kingsize bed and two single beds on the balcony above. The en suite has only a shower. This room is suited to older children.
The other family room in the garden also has an extra length kingsize bed and only one single bed in the same room with a lovely modern bath, shower and loo en suite.
Out of peak season rates R370.00 per adult and R125.00 per child under 12.
Season rates (1 Dec – 15 Jan) R490.00 per adult and R250.00 per child
Kids under 3 stay for free please request a cot in advance.
Rates include a delicious home cooked South African style breakfast, coffee or tea and cereal, fruit and yoghurt buffet bar.

All rooms are equipped with flat screen TV’s, DSTV channels, free Wi-Fi, fans, heaters, hairdryers, electronic safes and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits, fruit bowls and complimentary bottled water.
We have a licensed bar on site, stocked with local beers, wines and spirits and cool drinks.
The dining room is open for breakfasts from 8:30am. Please liaise with the chef regarding any dietary requirements. There is a braai facility by the deck. Packed picnic lunches are also available.
Directions
From the N2 keep driving until you see the R330 HUMANSDORP / St Francis Bay / Cape St Francis exit. Take this exit and follow the road into Humansdorp. You will come to a stop street with 2 large palm trees and an Engen Garage opposite. Cross over, passing the garage on your left. Drive through the town to a T-junction. Turn left here and follow the road and signs to ST. FRANCIS BAY. Travel past the entrance to the St Francis (Links Golf Course on your Right) at the second exit (Homestead Road) turn left into St Francis Bay. At the T-Junction turn left, turn right at the second road on your right (Kansies Road) and the lodge will be about 40m your right.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation of a booking 0-7 days prior to arrival date forfeit 100% of the deposit,
8-14 days prior to arrival date forfeit 75% of the deposit,
15-21 days prior to arrival date forfeit 50% of the deposit,
22-30 days prior to arrival date forfeit 25% of the deposit,
30 days or more notice and a full refund will be given.

Designed by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus – the St Francis Links has put St Francis Bay on the golf-map and has captured the imagination of all golfers who simply love the game. Jack himself describes the course as ‘the best links course I have ever designed’. The course demands a wide range of shots because of its unprotected exposure to the elements, its undulating and often unpredictable terrain, the fine coastal grasses and firmness of soil. It may not be as "pretty" as a traditional course, but it possesses an untamed raw beauty that is both inspiring and challenging. A true Links.
