Baysands Lodge is situated in Bloubergstrand, a coastal village on the scenic west coast of Cape Town. It is situated 20min s from Cape Town City Centre and 25mins from Cape Town International Airport. Blouberg is famous for its panoramic views of Table Mountain across the bay and is a popular destination for water sports, beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife.

Take the R27 from the N1 out of Cape Town towards Milnerton and continue to Table View. On entering Big Bay Turn left into Sir David Baird Rd and first right into Moolman Rd – Oyster Lane is the 5th cul de sac on the right where you will find Baysands Lodge at 3 Oyster Lane.

The coast of Blouberg offers long, sandy beaches, strong southeaster winds, which make for world-class kite & wind surfing.

A whole host of restaurants offers excellent dining options within walking distance of the lodge and the area has a great variety of modern shopping centres with all amenities, including cinemas, in one of the fastest growing areas in Cape Town.

Accommodation includes breakfast, daily service and laundry facilities on site. Each room has tea & coffee making facilities as well as own bar fridge, TV with 8 x DSTV channels and beach towels are provided free of charge. The lodge has a heated 12m lap pool in the garden and an honesty bar and poole table. All bookings include Airport transfers if required. Special Rates are negotiable for long stay visitors.

The terrain is quite flat and has no trees. The view of Table Mountain, however, is breathtaking. Another attraction are the many waterbirds on the bordering lagoon. One plays nine holes out and nine holes back to the club house.

Centrally situated in the Peninsula, within easy reach from all major access routes, this course is a must for all golfers. This 18-hole golf course, situated in the Welgemoed suburb of Bellville, exit 20 off N1, is set in a sheltered valley of rolling hills with panoramic views of the Hottentots Holland mountains in the distance.

Durbanville Golf Course
he Durbanville Golf Course was only founded in the year 1971, when there was still very little green and a lot of arid soil. Today the golf course of Durbanville is a beautiful park landscape, softly undulating with picturesque mountains in the background.
