Easy access to first-class sporting facilities is matched by the Inn's highly regarded restaurant: proprietors Nick and Jocelyn White and the chef have always made it their business to hand-source all their local suppliers, from fishermen to organic farmers. The result is a regionally focused yet diverse menu, that has earned the unique accolade of being the only four-star inn listed by the Scottish Tourist Board. Patrons have long enjoyed atmospheric hospitality at Lathones - and some, like The Grey Lady, have even been said to return from beyond the grave!
The Inn is also renowned for its exciting programme of live music - each week giants of the 60s and 70s play 'Living Room concerts' to just 50 people - making it one of the finest and most exclusive music venues in Scotland. The simply stunning 'Old Forge' was opened in 2007 and comprises of six deluxe bedrooms with large bathrooms, and two suites on the 1st floor. This design allows groups of friends to take one suite and three deluxe bedrooms as their exclusive private area that would give them their own lounge and bar area to meet in.
