Hayston Farm Guest House is a traditional farm guest house providing guests with a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and good food - serving traditional Scottish fayre. Our large rooms enjoy excellent views over the surrounding countryside. this is a relaxing and quiet establishment where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside and yet be only minutes away from the town of St Andrews.

Hayston is the ideal base for Golf / non golfers and Tee times can be arranged on all the courses in St Andrews and beyond.(Morris Golf Tours St Andrews. www.golftoursstandrews.com ) We also can provide golf clubs for hire as well as providing an experienced caddy for those not familiar with links golf courses.Other tours of castles, cathedrals, whisky trails, shopping etc. can also be arranged for those not interested in golf.

We have 2 Double superKing /Triple/Family en-suite rooms. (2-4 persons)

2 Double SuperKing / Twin with private Bathroom (bath or shower room) (2-3 persons)

Double en-suite 'office room'. (1-2 persons). (good for single or double occupancy).

Dining

A cooked Breakfast is served between 8am - 9am or earlier by arrangement. (continental also available). We offer a three course evening Dinner between 7pm - 9pm -advanced booking required.(minimum of 3 hours) and also a two course evening meal. Packed lunches are also available on request

St Andrews Golf

St Andrews Links is the most renowned golfing landscape in the world. It is the Home of Golf, the place where the game began and has been developed and nurtured over six centuries.  At the heart of the Links, is the Old Course but it has five 18 hole courses and a nine hole course alongside it. These are all public courses and with the seventh course, The Castle Course, on a site to the south east of St Andrews, comprise the largest public golf complex in Europe. The Old Course is unrivalled for its history and prestige, the New and Jubilee offer true links challenges as does the Eden with a slightly lower yardage. The Strathyrum and Balgove are suitable for more relaxed rounds or beginners and families. And The Castle Course offers a new challenge, a Links-like course perched on the cliffs overlooking St Andrews.

Carnoustie Golf Links

Championship Holes: 18 Yardage: 6941 SSS: 75 A classic links course steeped in history with a reputation for ferocity. Voted the top course in Britain by many of the golfing greats and has been described as Scotland's ultimate golfing challenge. Host to the 1999 Open.
Burnside Holes: 18 Yardage: 6020 SSS: 69 The Burnside Course is shorter than its big brother which encloses it on three sides but is a great introduction to the world of links golf.
Buddon Links Holes: 18 Yardage: 5420 SSS: 66 The Buddon Course has been extensively remodelled to make it more enjoyable for the average golfer, some of its holes would not however be out of place on its big brother the Championship Course.
