PRIVATE HOUSE PARTY IN A Beautiful Manor Set In The Highlands Of Scotland

Appin House is a private house, catering for house parties up to twelve persons. We create a house party atmosphere, and can arrange for guests to do a large variety of things, from golfing,shooting,stalking, fishing,falconry, horse Riding,antiquing  and many others. Appin House is a very special place, with a wonderful atmosphere. We have two magnificent steam showers, which enable guests to be able to either have a Sauna, or a shower or both, and can cater for any type of activity.

Your stay will include a fully staffed house to cater for your every need, all food, prepared by our fully trained chef, only the very best of Scottish fresh produce is used on our menus, wine with Dinner, and a cocktail or a dram before Dinner.

Transport can be arranged, and your every need catered for, by a cheerful and friendly staff.

We have at Appin House every facility our guests could want to enable them to have a holiday to remember, together with a staff who have lived here all their lives, and have all the local knowledge, to enable guests to get the best of Scotland.
The Manor
Appin House features three double rooms and three twin rooms in the main house, and in the steading two suites of a twin bedded room with shower and dressing room. Each bedroom has its own washbasin and is beautifully decorated in period fabrics and antiques. In addition to a luxurious bathroom and shower room, we have 2 two steam shower rooms for your pleasure.

There is a magnificent drawing room that houses a Bechstein grand piano (manufactured 1894) and a log fireplace.. Dinner is served in the large and superb dining room which includes a log fireplace.

The Steading
We have recently renovated the Steading to include 2 double suites (2 guests/suite), each with its own fireplace and a private outside entrance. Though newly renovated, the Steading offers the same unique ambiance as the manor. 

Unique trophy and games room, with a massive log fire , snooker table, games area and bar, there is also a Bar B Q area for outdoor parties

Kenmore
Est. 1992 at Mains of Taymouth this is a testing 9-hole golf course set in the heart of Highland Perthshire. The quality, mildly undulating layout provides an excellent venue amidst magnificent scenery.

Crieff
Voted 29th best golfing facility in the UK by the readers of Golf World magazine, Crieff Golf Club is one of Scotland's top inland courses. Built on gently sloping parkland, once the grounds of Ferntower House, the courses provide a fair, but challenging experience for all levels of players. Shorter, but testing, the nine-hole Dornock is ideal for a quick nine or as part of a thirty-six-hole package.

Pitlochry
Pitlochry Golf Course has been labelled “The Switzerland of Scotland” in an article published in Golf Illustrated in 1951 by H.J. Chapman. The author described Pitlochry as “ supplying great, invigorating golf in the shadow of the Grampians”, and “having champagne air and entrancing scenery”.

Gleneagles - Queens Course
The natural beauty of the Queen's Course inspires the world's most experienced players.  The Queen's Course, in its long history, has played host to some of the world's golfing greats.

Blairgowrie
The Blairgowrie Golf Club was founded as a private members club in 1889 and is situated in the heart of the magnificent Perthshire countryside. The Club features the renowned Rosemount and Lansdowne championship courses plus a very attractive 9-hole course which are set in heather lined avenues of pine and silver birch.

Carnoustie
Carnoustie isn’t the prettiest golf course - rarely do you catch glimpses of the sea - but it is a delightfully rough monster, even from the forward tees. Bring your “A” game here and pray for the weather to be kind. But be aware that should you plan to play Carnoustie in the winter (Nov-Mar), mats are required on the fairways and the first cut of rough.

St Andrews
St Andrews Old Course and Links is the largest golfing complex in Europe, comprising of 6 Public Courses and a golf practice centre. In addition there are two public clubhouses with full service and catering facilities.

Services

Transportation: We can arrange for your transportation to and from the airport and can provide local transportation during your stay (additional fees may apply) if you do not wish to hire a car at the airport. Local driver services are available to meet all your transportation needs during your stay.

Welcoming Service:If your needs demand, we can have a resident bagpiper awaiting your arrival at Appin House. In addition, we can arrange a falconry display upon your arrival or during your stay.

Staffing: The manor has staff available 24 hours a day for your needs.

Massage therapists and manicurists will provide in-home services for your beauty and relaxation benefits.

We have bicycles available for your use during your stay at the manor.
