Villa Angelica is situated three minutes on foot from "Venice-Lido" water-bus station. It is a completely restored house in liberty style dating from the beginning of the twentieth century.

In just ten minutes by boat you can reach the famous St. Mark’s Square. Villa Angelica offers its guests four double bedrooms, a triple bedroom and one single bedroom, all of them with private bath (with shower and hair-drier), TV sat., telephone, mini bar, modem plug and air conditioning. The furnishings are classic and refined, the lighting is made of shells and glass and is a mixture of Venetian and Oriental style.

You can have your continental breakfast in your bedroom or when the weather is warm enough, in the luxurious garden surrounding the villa. If you are fond of sport, a few steps from the villa there is the renowned Lido beach and in the vicinity a riding-school, a boat-racing centre, tennis courts, the famous golf and other sports facilities.

 We have bicycles at our guest’s disposal in order to get around easily and take in the relaxed atmosphere that Lido offers. In the garden there are toys and two swings for our smaller guests.

The Venice Golf Club was born in the Alberoni village, on the Lido-Venice island, 70 years ago, in 1930.
The legend tells that in 1926, the president of Ford Motor Company of America, Henry Ford, came to the Excelsior Hotel by taking in his luggage his golf clubs. The Golf, which had become popular in the United States, was not still very known in Italy. There was no course in Venice. The president of the "Italian Company of Grand Hotels" was enthusiastic at the idea of building a golf course in Venice. So, with Henry Ford he began to look for a ground ·
