Villa Vezza is a 12th Century medieval village .  This unique little borgha is immersed in the Tuscan region known as Casentino.  Bisected by the Arno River as it flows towards Florence, the Casentino is an unspoiled zone rich in history and art.  The amin villa has been restored in an attempt to maintain the original character and the outer buildings date back to the 1800’s.

The main villa and its cottages comprise 11 independent apartments.  The apartments have terracotta floors.  The bathrooms have beautiful ceramic tiles and classic fixtures.  Wrought iron bed frames and artisan lighting creates and Old World ambiance.

The entire complex was restored and modernized and opened in 1998.  Villa Vezza operates seasonally from April 1st – October 31st.  Shared outdoor amenities include terraced gardens and a swimming pool (4x6m).  There is a restaurant and bar located on the ground floor of the main vila.

Villa Vezza is located less than one hour from Florence, Siena, Cortona and Perugia.  Golf is located at just 10 minutes away at the new Campoleone complex and 30 minutes away at Poppi (Castentino Golf).  Vineyard vists and wine tasting excursions can be arranged.  The antique fair in Arezzo is held on the first weekend of each month.

The property is also perfect for small weddings or celebrations for those seeking privacy in a country setting.

Golf Club Casentino
The Casentino Golf Club is located on a panoramic and beautiful hill at about 500 asl. From this point one can take in the entire Casentino Valley, the first valley of the Arno river, the green heart of Tuscany and the home of the National Park of the Casentinese forest. The nine-holes golf course spreads out in front of the terrace of the Club House which is located on the top of the hill surrounded by oak forests. This is an ideal location for those who would like to test their tecnical skills on the green.
