Locanda al Colle is a luxury retreat in the countryside of Camaiore, just minutes away from the beaches of Versilia and all of Tuscany's most glamorous seaside resorts.

Each and every one of Locanda al Colle's bedrooms features a stylish fusion of the building's rustic architecture, modern-antique furnishings and accessories worthy of Italy's finest design hotels. With its large four poster bed and intimate sitting room with open fireplace, Locanda al Colle's suite is perfect honeymoon material. From the guest house's windows and terraces, marvelous views of the green hillside and the sea of Versilia can be seen.

From late spring to early autumn Locanda al Colle's delicious buffet breakfast is served 'al fresco' on the panoramic terrace overlooking the gardens and the guest house's stylish heated swimming pool. Poolside massages are available on request.

Only a few kilometers lie between Locanda al Colle and the fashionable coastal towns of northwest Tuscany. The beaches of Lido di Camaiore, Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio are all within easy reach of the guest house, as are the magnificent art cities of Lucca and Pisa.

At the cross roads of the famous Via Francigena with its historic trails and the sea, in a hill between Pietrasanta and Camaiore, our Guest House propose itself in a contest of absolute charm as a place of peace and privacy. An old stone house in which old and new, exterior and interior find harmony in the research of details such as the objects in every room, one off pieces mixed with findings from trips abroad giving a warm and comforting atmosphere.

Protected by the greenery of the olive grove, the Locanda looks towards the sea and the hills of Camaiore and from its panoramic terrace one enjoys unforgettable sunsets. Thanks to the mild climate of the area the place is ideal for stays in the open air from Easter to the early days of October.

There is outside space for breakfast made with local products and it is also possible to eat a light lunch on request and dinner twice a week .

The open air heated swimming pool is open throughout the season.

The Bedrooms

Protected by olive trees our rooms are unique and welcoming. Antique and period furniture, the result of searching and travelling, decorate the rooms with eclectic style bestowing on them both charm and comfort.

From the large windows the views of the hills and the sea or the olive grove can be enjoyed.

For your relaxed stay you can chose from Double Superior, Double Deluxe and Suite.
Double Superior: double bedroom with hills and sea views, sofa or armchairs to rest and read, rain showerheads, mini fridge and security box.

Double Deluxe: spacious double bedroom with private veranda and garden or panoramic terrace with outside fireplace, bath tub for two and rain showerheads, mini fridge and security box.

Suite: bedroom with four poster bed, separate sitting room with fire place, double bathroom with tub and rain showerhead, private terrace, mini fridge and security box.
 

All rooms have independent air conditioning.

Locanda Al Colle has an open air heated swimming pool and its own private parking.

The course, set like a diamond between the Apuan Alps and the sea, has been designed by the hand of the famous and creative Venetian architect Marco Croze. The Versilia Golf Club is an island in full bloom extending on the territories of Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi and Montignoso. A matchless landscape that fascinated the regular customers of the Versilia Golf Club, who, even if playing a few hundred meters away from the sea, take advantage of the Apuan Alps peaks and use them as a “target” for their own tee shot.
