Borgo la Bagnaia, situated in the glorious Tuscan countryside just 12kms away from the city of Siena, dates back to the 15^th century when it was home to members of the local aristocracy. In recent years the centuries-old complex has been expertly restored and transformed in stunning 5 star resort.

The 72 rooms and suites, distributed in the main body of the hotel and the cluster of ancient buildings surrounding what was once the main square, are all individually appointed and feature a delightful combination of traditional hand crafted Tuscan furniture and exquisite ornaments of Indian and Chinese origin.

Guests dining at the hotel’s La Voliera restaurant, enjoy the finest Tuscan cuisine, with dishes inspired by the local gastronomic tradition and prepared using only the best, locally sourced ingredients. Early 2010 is the date foreseen for the completion of the resort’s 18 hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, and currently under construction. Borgo la Bagnaia also has a state-of-the-art Events Venue, tucked out of sight of the main village on the hillside overlooking Siena.
