Buillt over 300 years ago Rathmore Holiday Village and Country House is a traditional stone farmhouse dating back to Georgian times. The house has been in the Cullen family for over nine generations.

We offer our guests a variety of luxury accommodation. Within our Country house, we offer Bed & Breakfast with the comfort and facilities of a hotel or alternatively book one of our self-catering apartments or cottages and avail of the same facilities but with that home from home feeling. We have a choice of one, two or three bedroom accommodation to suit everyone’s needs. Our unique self catering accommodation comprises a number of original stone buildings renovated to protect their traditional and historic value as well as maintain the high standard of accommodation our guests have come to expect from Rathmore over the years.

Our breakfast menu includes continental breakfast, but is best known for it's Irish bill of fare.   Dinner menu is served only with the most traditional of Irish relish.

While staying with us one can admire the beautifully matured gardens and fountains along with the magnificent vegetable and herb gardens that Rathmore has to offer. Why not take a round of golf on one of the 25 courses in Wicklow. Close by is the world famous Druids Glen.

Rathmore Holiday Village & Country House is situated just 2km from the beautiful village of Ashford, home to the famous Mount Usher Gardens now run by Avoca Handweavers. One can take a relaxing stroll through the woodlands of the Devils Glen. You will be central to most tourist attractions.

Rathmore Country House - Self-Catering

The Georgian Courtyard once a busy place is now converted to its original stone facade, within each section of the courtyard.   The conversion of the grain mill and stone is known as The Granary. Tastefully decorated in warm texture and colour with all mod cons and sleeps 4-8 persons.

The Coach House is, as its named and containes three & one bedroomed cottages also decorated in warm textures and colours with mod cons and sleeps 2-3 persons.

The area that was once the Stables has 8 apartments also known as The Stables and consists of 1 &2 bedroomed modern apartments with mod cons. Each can sleep between 2 and 5 persons with each being individually decorated.   Like all accomodation in Rathmore no cottage or apartment is the same, this way one can enjoy a different style each time they visit.

Where once the cows were milked is now known as The Byre. These are four cottages old style with their own area and loft.

The proprietor & staff provide full time personal service.

The European Club
The European Club, as the name suggests, is designed as and destined to be a major links and a major club. The links features 20-holes (two extra holes are in play most days) of exciting links golf through tumbling dunes with dramatic views of the Irish Sea from no fewer than sixteen of the holes! Some of the holes play along the beach!
