Marble Hill blue flag beach is just minutes from Rose Cottage so if it's watersports, activities or long walks on the beach everything is here for you to enjoy.

If you are an experienced Diver then you will enjoy Dive Tory or hire a charter at Bun beg .   Hill walking, Cycling, Bird watching, Horse riding are all to be enjoyed locally.  For the quiet relaxation of fishing, Lough Na Toohey outside of Creeslough is ideal for the Rainbow Trout enthusiast and there is sea angling off nearby Port Na Blagh Pier

Dunfanaghy Golf Club
Dunfanaghy Golf Club is an 18 hole true links laid out in 1905 by Harry Vardon, six times winner of The British Open. It is easily walked, but a superb golfing challenge, with spectacular views of beaches, headlands, harbours and mountains

Donegal golf club also known as Murvagh Golf Club
Donegal Golf Club at Murvagh, Co Donegal is an outstanding links golf course. Designed by the legendary course architect, Eddie Hackett, it is continually featured in Golf World's Top 100 courses in Ireland and Great Britain.

Ballyliffin Golf Club
Two 18 holes links courses, the Old and the Glashedy. The Old undulates over natural terrain whilst the new, designed by Craddock and Ruddy, presents a more difficult challenge.  The par 3 seventh hole on the Glashedy course is played from the top of the sand dune to a green guarded by bunkers on three sides and a lake on the other.

Portsalon Golf Club
Portsalon, dating back to 1891, is deserving of its fine reputation as a true links in the old style. Stretching along Portsalon beach on the shores of Lough Swilly and protected from north and west winds by the majestic mountains of Donegal are those narrow undulating fairways winding through deep dunes. Soft sand bunkers, large natural greens and meandering streams offer the golfer testing and enjoyable golf on a links steeped in history.

Rosapenna Golf Links
The Old Tom Morris Course was designed by old Tom Morris of St. Andrews in 1893 and later modified by James Braid and Harry Vardon to make it into a championship links golf course. The Sandy Hills Links Course was designed by Pat Ruddy and opened for play in June 2003. Rosapenna Golf Club also boasts a state of the art golfing academy with extensive practice facilities.
