This recently converted Old School House adjacent to the converted Old School is maintained to the highest standard in keeping with the old traditional character. Situated in West Ulster, this comfortable accommodation has 16 bed spaces and can accommodate private family parties.

These properties overlook the River Derg and have out-standing views of:

The area is renowned for its Fishing and ideal for canoeing in grade 2 waters, The area has its own out-door pursuits facility with drying rooms, showers etc. opening out to a spacious garden equipped with garden furniture and barbeque.

The Old School House comprises of 2 spacious reception rooms a large fully fitted modern kitchen including:
Dishwasher
Washing machine
Tumble dryer
Microwave.

It has two double bedrooms - one with ensuite. A single bedroom + twin bedded room with child's cot available on request. It has a newly fitted bathroom installed with fitted shower and separate shower, and a furnished glass Sun Room.

The Old School has wooden floors throughout with own private en-suite or private bathroom.

Derg View House is situated in the historical village of Ardstraw which is steeped in history at the foot of the Sperrins :-
2-3 minutes walking distance to the Local Spar, Restaurant/Lounge/Bar and Post Office in the village.

A few minutes drive to the Hunting Lodge, and two 18-hole golf courses situated around Lake Catherine, Fanny and Mary at Baronscourt.
15 minutes drive to the Ulster American Folk Park and the Gortin Glens & Fermanagh Lakelands.
Less than an hour’s drive to the beaches of Southern Ireland
Guided Walking Tours or Cycling could be arranged.

Newtownstewart Golf Club
An 18 hole parkland golf course situated near the Barnscourt estate, the residence of the Duke of Abercorn. One and a half miles from Newtownstewart on the Newtownstewart to Drumquin Road, the course is tree lined with both conifers and broad leaved species. We also have a licensed bar and restaurant on the premises
Strabane Golf club
Set in the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains, this rolling parkland course is intersected by the River Mourne. The water hazard first comes into play at the testing par four sixth, 'The River', where, after a very demanding tee shot you are faced with a medium iron to a narrow slopping green. It's a card wrecker of the highest proportions and an absolute delight to play

Hill Valley Golf Centre
An 18 hole par 3 course set amongst undulating Tyrone parkland complemented by mature woods. A 17 bay covered driving range (fully floodlit.) Tuition available from a P.G.A. professional.
