It is an ideal tour location for west Clare & Burren with easy access to Shannon airport. West Clare stretches from Miltown Malbay in the north to the Loophead Peninsula at Carrigaholt in the south.
This remarkable landscape along the western seaboard of Ireland is only interrupted occasionally by traditional towns and villages dotted along its coastline, such as:
Quilty, a busy, seaside village with miles of safe sandy beaches;
Kilrush is the principal town in West Clare. It has a Marina and is a market town. Day trips are available to Scattery Island with St. Senans Oratory. The recently restored Vandeleur walled gardens is a thriving tourist attraction.
Doonbeg home to the newly designed Greg Norman golf course;
Kilkee, with its popular sandy beach and aquapark 'Waterworld' and
Miltown Malbay famous for the Willie Clancy Traditional Irish Music Festival in July.
Clonmore Lodge B & B is close to 5 Golf courses making it the perfect location for the Golf enthusiast.
Golf :-
Doonbeg Golf Club
Designed by Greg Norman, Doonbeg Golf Club plays along 1.5 miles of beach and dunes. The ocean is visible from the green, fairway, or tee of 16 of the 18 holes. The par 72 layout features a single loop of nine holes out and nine back. It plays 6,885 yards from the back tees.

Kilkee Golf Club
Kilkee has developed into an 18 hole Course. In latter years it has blended the old and the new into a course that the members are very proud of. The views in Kilkee are breathtaking, with first and second tees looking out onto the Atlantic Ocean and the third Tee overlooking Chimney Bay with a spectacular clifftop view.

Kilrush Golf Club
Kilrush Golf & Sports Club which is situated half mile outside the old heritage town of Kilrush was founded in 1934. The new course which was re-designed by Dr. Arthur Spring in 1994 is a gem. The clever use of the natural terrain combined with water, trees and sand bunkers has resulted in a scenic course that is a pleasure to play.

Lahinch Golf Club
Lahinch Golf Club has undoubtedly one of the world's great classic links. It has all the ingredients of greatness: a glorious setting, a rich history, superb natural terrain and, where man has 'intervened', it has been through the hand of an outstanding architect. It also has a pair of notorious blind holes, a ruined castle and goats that roam freely on the dunes. Welcome to Lahinch. Savour the experience.
