French Sun Gite and Bed and Breakfast for golf holidays in Gascony, France

 

 

This holiday Gîte is set in a tranquil valley in the heart of Gascony, surrounded by fields of Sunflowers and the Pine Forests of Les Landes and only five minutes from the local Golf Course. Only two hours from the Pyrenees and slightly longer to the Atlantic Coast and the border with Spain.

Ideally suitable for a couple, or a couple with up to two children. Sorry no children under 6 years old.

The accommodation is beautifully furnished with quality fittings, more a lush hotel suite than a holiday Gîte. You can choose to eat your meals on your private balcony or at the pool, that is if you can resist the pull of the fantastic valued local restaurants. You can choose to have a fun packed week or a total relaxing stay sipping your wine bought from the local Buzet Cave. Try out the local delicacies from one of the many nearby morning markets. Whatever you choose we can assure you of a very pleasant stay.

On the first floor is a large open plan room with elevated bedroom area with a double bed, lower level lounge with bed settee and folding bed, the two sleeping areas can be divided by a curtain. There is a DVD-Player with monitor in the lounge area so you can watch your favourite films or listen to music. The en-suite bathroom has a large corner shower, washbasin and toilet. Entrance leading onto a private large wooden balcony, which overlooks the garden and long distance views.

On the ground floor is a kitchen area with four ringed gas cooker with oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and washing machine. Barbecue facilities are also available.

Set in 1.7 acres of garden with swimming pool 10x5 metres, with approved safety alarm.

Bed linen and towels are provided, but you must bring your own towels for use at the Pool.

Le Béas is a very small hamlet just 6km from Nérac, a small but well-appointed little town, with its own Chateau steeped in history. It has three Supermarkets, restaurants to please all tastes and tranquil walks along the riverside.

It is a superb area for walking, cycling and sightseeing; local leisure lakes, numerous sites of historic interest, many fine and reasonably priced restaurants, and vineyards. Many fine golf courses are nearby.

Sorry no pets. Available between 5th May and 26th October. Bookings are Saturday to Saturday in July and August, but are flexible the rest of the year.

We can also offer Bed & Breakfast Accommodation, based on a minimum of 2 nights stay from in May, June, September and October. The price includes use of the apartment with ensuite bathroom, pool and continental breakfast on your balcony, but does not include the kitchen facilities.
