La Locandiera Guest House B&B Cagnes sur Mer, Provence, France

La Locandiera is located on the French Riviera between Nice and Cannes facing a little fishing port. The hotel building is an early 1900' stone villa surrounded by a wonderful garden. The recent restoring work has been carried out accurately and with exquisite taste.

The B&B La Locandiera has 5 rooms including 2 very spacious suites with king size beds with bath and double shower [bathrooms in marble]. Three rooms have a sea view or garden view, queen size beds and large bathrooms with spacious showers.

The B&B is a two storey building with five rooms, two of which are suites, each with an amazing sea view. La Locandiera is at a stones throw from the beach and two minutes walk from the centre of town.

The large living-room faces the sea and the wonderful Mediterranean garden with palm trees, eucalyptus, bougainvilias, aloe, vera, jasmine.... Here every morning breakfast is served including both Italian and French specialities.

Internet and fax service as well as various books and magazines are at disposal in the reading room.
 

The large beach offers several sports activities: sailing school, scuba diving. Not far from the guest house, you can find the Casino, the horse racetrack of Cagnes-sur-mer (the only one of the French Riviera),the medieval town of Haut-de-Cagnes and the Renoir museum; these landmarks, along with the contemporary art exhibit are just a few among the various entertaining opportunities in this sunny little town.

La Grande Bastide Golf Course 18 holes: 6105m: par 72.
In a large shalllow bowl just outside Grasse, Grande Bastide has a North American feel to the style of the holes. Plenty of water and sand to entertain you under the gaze of the overlooking hills.

Cannes-Mandelieu Golf Club 18 + 9 holes: 5676m: par 71
The Grand Old Lady of the Côte d'Azur. Beside the sea amongst the spreading umbrella pines. Boat ride from 2 to 3 and 12 to 13! Best played in the Spring as it tends to suffer over the Summer months at the hands of "irregular" golfers.

This course is well protected by bunkers and water features, particularly on the first and eigth hole and requires straight hitting, a number of valleys and slopes on the fairways.

Biot Golf Course - 18 holes Par 67 4511 m
Designed in 1930, the "Bastide du Roy" course shows a flat and short relief, rather narrow and accessible to all levels of play. Full of charm, rustic and romantic, the landscape as well as the course will seduce all players, younger as older ones.
