Tinkers Furze is an original Pool and Sons house dating from the 1920's, situated in the Blue Triangle conservation area in Fleet close to town centre and 5 minutes from the station by taxi. It is a non-smoking household (smoking is permitted on the patio outside) and no pets please.
The bedrooms are spacious (two with French windows onto balcony) and with views over the garden. Nearly all bedrooms are en suite and all rooms have TV's, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers. There is a large sitting room open onto the patio. It has a large well-maintained garden which visitors are welcome to enjoy.

This undulating golf course has considerable charm and, with its large greens and a number of long par fours, provides you with a deceptively difficult but rewarding challenge. As well as having been on the qualifying roster for the Open Championship, the club also stages two national amateur events: the Hampshire Hog is a prestigious and long established 36 hole men's scratch amateur event, and the Hampshire Rose is a well established 36 hole ladies event.
The original golf course was built over 100 years ago as a 9 hole parkland course in a traditional layout offering testing golf for all participants. In 2000 an additional 9 holes were added and it now offers a well laid out variation of both traditional and new designs. The new holes have now established themselves alongside the original course to offer a good test of golf in a relaxed environment.
The 18 hole Woodland course measures 6065, and is a par 70 and the 9 hole Village course measures 3218 and is a par 36. The layout has been carefully designed to provide a challenge for golfers of all standards.
Originally designed by Peter Paxton, who was adept at using the natural water courses that flow on the land to guard the greens. Heather too was used as a feature to provide cross hazards on some of the longer holes, reducing the need for bunkers and maintaining a natural look to the course. These natural barriers and cleverly designed doglegs mean the course plays a lot longer than the 6,200 yardage suggests.
