Local Atrractions:

The pretty little village of Heacham (½ mile), with its good choice of shops, restaurants, pubs and takeaways is the centre of the Norfolk lavender-growing industry, and Caley Mill, where the essence is distilled, can be visited free of charge.

Hunstanton (2 miles) has all the seaside attributes for a lovely holiday: miles of sandy beaches with rock pools, majestic cliffs, amusements and water sports, as well as tennis, croquet, bowls, golf, shops, restaurants and inns, leisure and Sea Life centres.

Boat trips from Blakney, to see the Seals

The bird reserves of Snettisham and Titchwell are both within easy reach.

There are numerous quality pubs nearby that are child friendly, offering excellent food, wine and traditional ales. You can also find some great cafes and some fine dining experiences.

Heacham Manor Golf Club 
Designed in a links style the course will challenge all golfers, a long course at over 7,000 yards means it will be one of the longest in Norfolk, however with a number of teeing areas on each hole the course will be playable for all handicaps.

Royal West Norfolk Golf Club

Royal West Norfolk Golf Club (Brancaster) is an outstanding links course set on the North Norfolk coast. With the North Sea on one side and the saltmarsh on the other it has a wonderfully atmospheric setting, and is ranked 17th in England and 44th in the UK by top100golfcourses.com.

Hunstanton Golf Club
Lying on the northwestern coast of Norfolk, Hunstanton Golf Club, though not quite as tough as some of the Open Championship courses, is still a real challenge for all links enthusiasts.  The links is of the highest calibre, offers countless superb holes and boasts greens that are amongst the finest and slickest in England.
