Well for one thing Colyton is a small medieval town with a big village atmosphere and has won "Best Kept Village" competition several times. A warm and friendly welcome is assured form all. We have a magnificent church and a rebellious history. Colyton is 3 miles from the coast yet is set in unspoilt countryside on the banks of the River Coly.  There is a wide choice of places to visit from beautiful beaches to National trust houses, from wonderful countryside walks to busy market towns, from golf courses to horse riding, from model trains to glorious garden centres, from fishing to tram rides. There are also several adventure parks nearby.

Spend your holiday in very comfortable surroundings with magnificent south facing views of open fields and a deep wooded valley. The spacious and superbly renovated former farmhouse is furnished to a high standard to make you feel welcome and at home. A very quiet and peaceful setting yet ideal for walking and touring the Lyme Bay coastline and lovely countryside of East Devon. Golf, fishing, riding, beaches, sailing, windsurfing and a gym are all within a 5 mile radius, whilst the coastal town of Sidmouth is 7 miles, the busy market town of Honiton, also good for antiques, is 8 miles and the historic cathedral city of Exeter is only 22 miles. Colyton itself offers horse drawn wagon trips in the summer season, a beautiful church, fine eating houses and several pubs along with a good selection of shops. We are also only 2 miles from the coast and Seaton where a pleasant tramway ride will take you along the Axe Estuary giving you the perfect opportunity to observe a vast array of bird life

Our accommodation comprises of an oak beamed lounge with comfy sofas, and round dinning table and chairs, kitchen, equipped with all the essentials including a dishwasher, cooker, and fridge freezer. Shower room with toilet, wash hand basin and washing machine. Bedroom has a double bed, dressing table and built-in wardrobe
There is ample parking for tidy drivers. Cot and highchair available. Television. Digi box. Video. DVD player. Stereo radio/cassette/CD player. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Freezer. Babysitting can be arranged. Large secluded and secure garden leading to 1.5 acre field ideal for playing or practicing your golf! BBQ outdoor tables and chairs. Well-behaved friendly pets are welcome but be aware there are sheep in adjoining fields.

Our accommodation comprises of an oak beamed lounge with a big open fire and comfy sofas, a large family kitchen, fully equipped with a table big enough for you all to sit around and an oak beamed ceiling, utility room with small freezer, second fridge and second cooker, a large sunny conservatory, a games room with pool table, downstairs cloakroom with toilet and basin. First floor comprises bathroom, separate toilet, 5 bedrooms - 1 double with dressing room and en-suite bathroom, 1 double with en-suite shower room, 2 twin with en-suite shower rooms, and 1 double, (next to separate toilet).  Cot. Recognised as one of the finest golf courses in the South West, the course occupies a cliff top site with coastal views towards Portland Bill and overlooks the historic town and World Heritage Site of Lyme Regis.  Clifftop course with magnificent coastal views to Portland Bill and looks down on the historic town and World Heritage Site of Lyme Regis. Not a hilly course.

Honiton Golf Club - Par 69 5910 Yards
Honiton Golf Club is a lovely course set high in the hills to the east of Honiton town with splendid views across to the Blackdowns. Established in 1896 the greens are maintained in excellent condition as are the fairways.

Axe Cliff Golf Club
Axe Cliff is an 18 hole, Par 70, 5969 yards challenging course, very hilly with many blind holes, plenty of narrow fairways, testing greens which are closely guarded by a clutch of large, unforgiving bunkers and some thick rough to avoid.  The course itself is in tremendous condition and is playable throughout the year.
