The Willow Point Beach House was one of the first homes to be built on the lake area. A character home surrounded by wildlife, parks, mountain and lake views. Located in Nelson British Columbia , Canada.

Maureen & Len Crawford, welcome you to our Willow Point Beach House B&B, a Nelson Bed and Breakfast.

Our special B&B is located only 4 miles out of Nelson.

It is established on over half an acre of land. We can proudly boast of 192 ft of the best beach in the area that sports clean golden sand. Just bring your bucket and spade or even your boat……… should the mood take you...

We have a second old house on the property that was a packing shed. This was originally used for ferrying and packing the fruit for distribution.

The Suites:

Each suite has a large porch with patio furniture to relax on. There are views of the lake from every window!!

Guests can roast Marshmallows by the fire pit or take the canoe out and enjoy the tranquility of the lake.

All in all Willow Point Beach House is all about hospitality and relaxation filled with special details for the discerning couples who want to get away from it all.

Get back to nature and rejuvenate!! We are perfect for Honeymoon and Anniversary couples. Our guests have several options for taking their gourmet breakfast:

Privately in your own suite.
On your own patio, in the warm morning air.
In the B&B’s main dining room.

Summer Activities include:

Fishing: Well, the lake is only a skip from your door so bring your own line or borrow one of ours. For the more serious fisherman, we are happy to arrange a trip with the local organizer. Last year my brother Stewart from the UK, caught an 8 lb Dolly Varden Trout from my neighbor’s landing deck. He went home a very happy man!!!!

Walking/Hiking/Biking: Miles of trails and tracks for all levels of energy and fitness to enjoy! We have plenty of storage for bikes. We have plenty of National Parks and they are all close.

Let us make you a packed lunch to enjoy on your way.

Golf: Wow!! So many great courses in such close proximity! You can take the ferry to the opposite side of the lake and enjoy great golfing. Makes you feel as if you have been on another holiday. The ferry is free and an excellent way to see more of the lake. We are happy to set up T times for you.

With splendid views of the Kokanee Glacier, Kootenay Lake and the mountain city of Nelson, the Granite Pointe Golf Club is yet another gem in BC’s scenic Kootenay Rockies Region.  The course, which underwent a complete overhaul and expansion to 18 holes by acclaimed architect Bill Newis in 1993, traverses through challenging terrain and features a number of risk-reward holes requiring precise shot-making. Be warned however, ‘precise shot-making’ can be hampered by the many magnificent vistas golfers are treated to while playing the course.
